PlayasApp is an app that lets you see how many people are on some Spanish beaches in real time. Currently, there's only information about certain coastal areas of Andalusia, but more beaches are expected to be added in the near future.
The interface in PlayasApp is pretty straightforward. All it takes is a few seconds to see an estimate of how many people are currently on the beaches in the selected area. In fact, the app segments the beaches of each coastal area so you can see even more specific information about the capacity of each section.
In PlayasApp, the beaches are divided by township. This way, you just have to select the town where you're thinking about going to the beach to see what the current situation is and decided whether or not to go to any particular beach. This is incredibly useful, letting you see at a glance where to go if you want to avoid coming into contact with too many other beach-goers.
PlayasApp offers the information necessary to keep you informed about the capacity of each beach. Even though the app is not set up with very many coastal towns yet, it will soon become a must-have app for the summer given the current COVID-19 situation.
